Marine Science Students Swim with the Dolphins

As part of their lab requirement, our students enrolled in Marine Biology  visited Dolphin Island Care in Key Largo on Friday May 4th. They had the opportunity to swim with the Dolphins and obtain hands on experience with researchers on marine life and conservation.

Brendan Santidrian, Junior

We want to congratulate Brendan Santidrian for winning First Place in the state of Florida in the "Celebrate Literacy Week PSA Awards."  Brendan competed against other students throughout the state and his video production was recognized as the best for the State.  Brendan will be recognized on January 25th at the Daytona Speedway and will represent Schoolhouse Prep. We are all so proud of Brendan and his accomplishments!  Please view his Award Winning PSA below:

Maricarmen Suarez Interviewed on Univision 
"Hoy en Nuestra Comunidad"

Maricarmen Suarez, a Sophomore at Schoolhouse Prep was recently interviewed on "Hoy en Nuestra Comunidad".  She gave a candid look at her life as a teenage girl with Asperger's Syndrome.
