What is CLEP?
CLEP (the College-Level Examination Program®) offers 34 exams that cover intro-level college course material. These 90-minute exams (exams with an essay component take additional time) can be administered only at official CLEP test centers. With a passing score on one CLEP exam, you could earn three or more college credits at more than 2,900 U.S. colleges and universities.
CLEP was created to help individuals with prior knowledge in a college course subject earn their degree efficiently and inexpensively.
Who is Eligible?
Students in 10th -12th grade with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
How Do I sign Up?
Schoolhouse Prep is an official CLEP Test Center for the College Board. Students who maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher are eligible to take the CLEP Exam. Students can prepare for the subject area exam by taking a free online course. To register, contact Mr. Sean Zetino. He will register you for the test and the online course.

Prepare to take the CLEP Exam
The College Board’s College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) has been the most widely trusted credit-by-examination program. Students can earn credit for what they already know by getting qualifying scores on any of the 34 examinations. While CLEP is sponsored by the College Board, only colleges may grant credit toward a degree.
