Medicaid and Med Waiver
Parents need to contact the following to have their child (18 year old) placed on waiting list for Adult MedWaiver. This is for those who do not have MedWaivers:
Department of Children and Families - Adult Services: (305) 377-5122
Agencies for Persons with Disabilities: (305) 377-5203
For those who have MedWaivers they continue with the services until the age of 21 but through a different provider because of age. The parents should be contacting their case manager to discuss provider transitioning process.
