Back-to-School Giveaway at the Miami Rescue Mission
Every child deserves to begin the school year with confidence, dignity, and the tools they need to succeed. Unfortunately, many families in our community struggle to afford even the most basic back-to-school essentials. That’s why The Miami Rescue Mission hosting their annual Back-to-School Giveaway on August 1, serving children from Kindergarten through 12th grade across Miami and Broward Counties. The goal is to serve 400 low-income families and more than 1,000 children in our community by providing backpacks filled with school supplies, a new pair of sneakers for each child, new socks, and hygiene kits.

Donation Deadline: Thursday, July 31, 2026 Donations can be dropped off at Schoolhouse Prep Ways You Can Help 1. Donate New Sneakers, Backpacks, and School Supplies They are collecting brand-new sneakers for boys and girls (K–12), along with backpacks and school supplies. Every donation helps a child start the school year prepared and confident. 2. Make a Monetary Donation Your business, organization, or family can become a Back-to-School Sponsor and make a lasting impact in the lives of children in our community. Volunteer Opportunities July 6 – July 31 (Monday–Saturday) 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM August 1st: Helping hands are needed on August 1 to assist with setup, distribution of supplies, and ensuring each child has a joyful experience. |
